Annual Community Festival at the Gasverksdagen

Gasverksdagen was held in September 2025 for the sixth time. Thousands of visitors came to try activities, sample food, or speak with representatives from the City of Stockholm, CA Fastigheter, sports associations and others. Since the first Gasverksdagen was organised, much has changed, with the area becoming more accessible and new activities being established.

Gasverksdagen offered activities for the whole family. Several venues held open houses, the Transport Museum offered free admission, and various organisations and local sports clubs hosted different activities. Visitors could try outdoor climbing, archery, drive a miniature electric car or play handball. The youngest visitors could also participate in the Little Gasworks Race. Restaurants were open as usual, and food stalls were available at Boberg Square.

For those interested in learning more about the history of the Gasworks and the buildings' former functions, guided tours were available.

Inside Berghs School of Communication, the City of Stockholm, CA Fastigheter, Cirkus Venues presented an exhibition about ongoing and upcoming projects within the Gasworks area.

As usual, the City of Stockholm was present at the large-scale model, where we answered questions and shared information about Stockholm Royal Seaport's development and plans.

Gasverksdagen was organised in collaboration with CA Fastigheter. The 2026 event is planned for Saturday, 5 September. Keep an eye on our channels for more information!
